JHB-1 Brinell Hardness Indentation Automatic Measurement System

The JHB-1 is a high-precision system designed for automatic Brinell hardness indentation measurement. It supports a wide range of test forces from 1 kgf to 3000 kgf and indenter diameters of 1, 2.5, 5, and 10 mm, with a recommended indentation diameter range of 0.4–6.0 mm for optimal accuracy. Four adjustable fixed magnifications (20X–70X) ensure precise measurement across different indentation sizes.

Equipped with a 2-megapixel CMOS USB camera housed in a durable aluminum alloy shell with a 304 stainless steel magnetic base, the system allows automatic or manual indentation capture, and measurement with an accuracy of ±0.5%. It connects via USB to a Windows PC (XP–10) and supports Microsoft Office for automatic report generation in WORD or EXCEL.

The main function:

  1. Automatic measurement: automatically or manually capture the indentation and measure the indentation diameter and calculate the corresponding Brinell hardness value;
  2. HB2 automatic measurement (German industrial standard DIN1605): automatically or manually measure the indentation diameter of the standard test block and the test piece, and automatically calculate the HB value of the test piece by looking up the table and interpolating;
  3. Hardness value conversion and effective verification: The system can convert the measured Brinell hardness value HB into other hardness values such as HV, HR, etc.;
  4. Data statistics: The system automatically calculates and saves the average, variance and other statistical values of the measured hardness;
  5. Exceeding the standard alarm: automatically indicate the abnormal value, when the hardness exceeds the specified value, it will automatically alarm;
  6. Test report: Automatically generate WORD or EXCEL format report, report template can be customized;
  7. Data storage: measurement data including indentation images and other available document storage;
  8. Other functions: Contains all the functions of the microscopic image processing and measurement system, including image capture, calibration, image processing, geometric dimension measurement, document annotation, album management, and fixed-size printing, etc.
