The HV-50Z delivers precise and efficient microhardness testing with a high-clarity optical system designed by senior optical engineers, providing bright, comfortable viewing and microscope-level imaging. Its industrial display visually presents hardness values, diagonals, test forces, dwell time, and statistics for intuitive operation.
Built with a cast-aluminum, deformation-resistant body and durable automotive-grade coating, the HV-50Z ensures long-term stability and scratch resistance. It features automatic loading/holding/unloading, dual optical channels (eyepiece + CCD), and supports test forces from HV0.3 to HV5.0.
Ideal for steels, non-ferrous metals, coatings, heat-treated layers, microstructures, and brittle materials such as glass, ceramics, and wafers. Optional software enables automated measurement to eliminate human error and further improve accuracy and efficiency.
Main functions and features:
