1、 Purpose :
Pasteur hardness tester is mainly used to test the hardness of aluminum and aluminum alloy, also can test the hardness of other soft metal and FRP products. Can test all kinds of super large, ultra wide, super thick workpiece and assembly parts, test sheet, strip, profile, forgings, castings, etc.
A W-20 type Wechsler hardness tester widely used in aluminum processing industry is suitable for most aluminum alloys. For 2024,7075 and other super hard aluminum alloy, you can use the W-B75 type Wechsler hardness meter, or pasteurian hardness meter. For pure aluminum, low hardness aluminum alloy, especially thick aluminum alloy and other aluminum alloy workpieces which are not convenient to use Wechsler hardness meter should use pasteurian hardness meter.
The pasteurian hardness tester is generally used as a supplement to the Wechsler hardness tester when testing pure aluminum, low hardness aluminum alloy and super large, super thick materials.
